Lee Min Ho reveals he dated a college student for 6 months

Actor Lee Min Ho, who recently concluded his popular drama ‘City Hunter‘, shared a shocking confession about how he broke up with a college student last year.

In a recent interview with Daily Sports, he revealed, “After I concluded filming for ‘MBC’s ‘Personal Taste‘, I dated a woman who was a year younger than me and a student in college for six months.”

He elaborated, “After I finished shooting for ‘Personal Taste’, I had a lot of time. While I was eating one day, I saw a female college student. It had been a long time since I met a woman who was unrelated to the entertainment industry, which was nice. We didn’t tell my agency and started to date. We dated secretly for six months, but we broke up because of personality differences.”


Since he’s now wrapped up ‘City Hunter’, the reporter asked Lee Min Ho about what he planned to do with his free time.

Lee Min Ho replied, “I want to date. I ended a lot of relationships because of the excuse of not having enough time. Even though my close relationships with actors grew, I sometimes thought it would become an obstacle. Now, with whatever effort, I want to meet a new person. When I meet a good person, I want to hang out with her without letting anyone know“.

He also chose his ideal type to be Song Hye Kyo’s character in the drama, ‘Full House‘. Lee Min Ho explained, “She is mentally mature and also has a bright female style, which is my ideal type. Although I look at appearances, I am not the type to focus on it like other people. The feeling is important. When I first meet that person, it’s important for me to feel comfortable with that person. Even if I don’t pay attention to it, I get attracted to people who I feel comfortable to.”

Lee Min Ho stated, “Women [I want to date] can be over 20, they seem mature in love. I think it’s important to have a lot of experience in love to have a deep love. I want to meet a thoughtful woman who makes me feel happy just by looking at her.”

Lee Min Ho is currently in the midst of shooting for his ‘Eider‘ endorsement with SNSD’s YoonA.

Lee Min Ho speaks about his nearly-fatal car accident

All eyes were on actor Lee Min Ho as he spoke about his near-death experience on a popular entertainment news program.

On July 13th, Lee Min Ho revealed, “The witnesses said it was a miracle I was still alive,” referring to his serious car accident on set that practically totaled the vehicle.

Lee managed to keep a light attitude, but added: “I feel fine now, except that my back still hurts – but it may be due to the excessive rain lately. I think I may need to see a doctor after this.”

When asked about which of his action moves were the most memorable for him, he said it was the “Spoon Move”. He had practiced it so many times that he could now execute it with his eyes closed.

“The move is supposed to be done with a sword, but because we can’t use that on set, we substituted it with a spoon.”

In regards to ‘City Hunter‘ as a whole, he said, “I feel like I’ve grown as a person while shooting ‘City Hunter’. Hopefully when it’s all said and done, I’ll be a better Min Ho than I was when I first started.”

In this drama series, Lee Min Ho portrays the role of ‘Yoon Sung’, the rebel who goes against society’s norms with his unconventional ways.

Lee Min Ho says seatbelt and airbag saved his life

On June 15th, actor Lee Min Ho thanked his fans for their concern over his health through his me2day. Lee, who was recently involved in a car accident, posted “I have safely returned as ‘City Hunter’ Lee Yoon Sung. Thank you for all your kind encouragement and support”.

He later expressed through his agency, “I’m sorry for having made so many people worry, and am thankful for all the kind support I have received. I’ve returned to film for the drama, and will work even harder to present everyone with a good performance”.


Speaking on his accident, Lee stated, “First and foremost, it’s a relief that no one received significant injuries from the accident. I was able to avoid a bigger accident thanks to the airbag and seatbelt”.


The accident occurred while Lee Min Ho was filming a car scene for the drama. His vision was obstructed by bright light from the lighting equipment, which caused him to crash into a sprinkler truck. He was immediately transported to a hospital, and thankfully did not receive any significant injuries.

“City Hunter” releases still-cuts of Lee Min Ho filming in Thailand

MBC’s upcoming drama, “City Hunter“, has finally released still-cuts of actor Lee Min Ho from his shoot in Thailand!

Since it’s his first small screen project in nearly a year, Lee Min Ho was reportedly unable to hide his joy as he took part in the drama’s first recording in comfortable attire.


The actor was not only successful in completing the recording, but even took the time to get to know and play jokes on his Thai co-stars in order to create a comfortable atmosphere for all. He also took in all of the advice given to him by producers, and reflected it brilliantly into his acting.

The producers of “City Hunter” revealed, “The weather was colder than we expected, so it was difficult shooting the scenes. Lee Min Ho, however, has a deep affection for the drama and was able to overcome all of the obstacles through it. Fans can now look forward to Lee Min Ho’s transformation into a man of true charms.”

Working alongside Park Min Young, Lee Jun Hyuk, and Goo Hara, Lee Min Ho will unveil the pilot episode of “City Hunter” on May 25th.
