Dumbfoundead releases track “Charlie Sheen” with Traphik & Jin

With the American actor Charlie Sheen’s recent drug scandal dominating headlines and swallowing up tabloids as of late, it was only a matter of time until the controversial celebrity figure got a rap song dedicated to his highly publicized downfall.

Three of the hottest Asian American rappers of today, Dumfoundead, Traphik (aka Timothy DeLaGhetto) and Jin got together and collaborated on the epic (and aptly titled) track, Charlie Sheen. Unsurprisingly, the trio delivers with a comedic style and dope lyrics sprinkled with punchline references like “winning” and “tiger blood.”

The music video was directed by Kevin Boston; check it out below!

Although recently crowned as American television’s highest paid actor with a payroll exceeding $2 million per episode on Two and a Half Men, Sheen’s escalating drug and personal problems got himself sacked from the show earlier this month. Since his downfall, the celebrity has given a number of bizarre and controversial interviews and also opened a Twitter account (accumulating over one million followers in just over twenty four hours, breaking the world record).

Behind the scenes:

Produced by Tatsuro Mille for GlobalCityMusic, Charlie Sheen will be released on iTunes starting next week.
