miss A’s new song “Good Bye Baby“’s fun lyrics have garnered attention.The title track, “Good Bye Baby” off of miss A’s first full-length album ‘A Class‘, contains very catchy melody and lyrics which helped propel the song to the top of the charts as soon as it was released on July 18th.
In particular the first verse that reads, “I figured it out when you called me Suzy on accident, when my name isn’t Suzy. I don’t know why I tried so hard to trust in you. (I knew what kind of guy you were) Don’t cry in vain. (I took out all of your things). The acting stops now“.
By using one of the miss A members’ names as the “other girl” that the boyfriend is seeing made the songs lyrics a bit more impactful yet at the same time retaining a playful nature.
“Good Bye Baby” tells the story about a confident girl that has dumped her playboy boyfriend. The song has a strong hip-hop rhythm accompanied by an acoustic shuffle soul sound.
Meanwhile, miss A has upgraded their former sexy and cute image to a more classy chic feel. miss A will be making their comeback performance on Mnet’s ‘M! Countdown‘ on July 21st.
